Print-ready invitation designs for personal celebrations — each suite built with cohesive typography, custom illustrations, and coordinated colour palettes tailored to the event theme.
Personal celebration invitations are one of the most emotionally significant pieces of print design — they set the tone for the entire event and are often kept as keepsakes long after the day itself. Every design decision, from typeface to colour palette to illustration style, needs to match the mood of the occasion and resonate with the person receiving it.
This collection presents two invitation suites designed for personal celebrations. Each suite was developed from a distinct theme, with custom typography pairings, coordinated colour palettes, and illustrative elements that bring the event's character to life. Both are print-ready at A5 and 5×7 inch formats, suitable for professional printing or home printing.
Each invitation was designed to immediately communicate its event theme through colour, illustration, and typographic mood — so the recipient knows what kind of event they're being invited to before they read a single word.
Good invitation design works on a hierarchy — the event name catches the eye first, the key details (date, time, venue) read second, and the decorative elements frame and reinforce the mood throughout. Every element serves a purpose: nothing is purely decorative if it doesn't also communicate something about the event.
Every invitation suite is designed to be handed directly to a print shop — or printed at home — without any additional technical work required.
Canva was used for rapid layout iteration and client-friendly previews, while Adobe Illustrator handled custom vector elements and export precision for print-ready files.
This suite currently showcases two invitation designs — a baby shower and a birthday celebration. The collection is actively growing to include thank-you cards, matching envelopes, birthday party invitations, and other personal celebration stationery. Each new addition will follow the same principle: a cohesive theme, print-ready quality, and a design that feels personal to the occasion it celebrates.
