Overview
MomFlow is a wellness-centered lifestyle app designed to support new moms through every stage of early motherhood. Built in FlutterFlow, the app delivers a seamless experience on iOS and Android, providing both practical tools and emotional support.
My Role & Contributions
As the front-end and back-end developer, I was responsible for building and integrating the app’s core functionality using FlutterFlow, Firebase, RevenueCat, and custom code extensions. My work ensured a smooth user experience and robust backend logic.
Key Development Highlights
Authentication & User Accounts – implemented secure login, sign-up, and personalized dashboards.
Daily Planner & Journal – created interactive planner and journaling tools with data stored in Firebase.
AI Assistant Integration – connected to the OpenAI API to deliver 24/7 emotional and informational support.
Image Uploads – Implemented secure upload functionality for user profile photos and child milestone images, stored and synced via Firebase.
Graph & Data Visualization – developed growth/milestone tracking with visual progress charts.
Subscription System – integrated RevenueCat for subscription management and in-app purchases.
Development Challenges & Solutions
Overcame FlutterFlow’s limitations by injecting custom code for advanced flows and AI integration.
Ensured real-time data syncing across devices using Firebase Firestore.
Streamlined subscription logic with RevenueCat, allowing for smooth upgrade/downgrade handling.
